A secretary from Bluedale called to tell me that I can start working on Monday, which is 3rd of June.
I reminded her that during the interview, I have stated that I will need 1 week of notice to get my car fixed.
She went to ask her superior and they both got back to me saying that I can't get my 1 week of notice.
"You want this job, right?" one of them said. "So you can accept the offer and use taxi to go to work."
And that's how they left me not having any choice, not even excited about getting a job. I'm desperate and they know it.
I had a call from Bluedale for interview invitation on next week. The thing is, the ad on jobstreet as I applied was Content Writer. But the position she mentioned on the conversation is finance & account. Yes I do have accounting background in my portfolio on jobstreet but just as Account Assistant for few months. So I thought it is Finance & Account Assistant. Then they sent me the invitation email, surprisingly its stated Finance & Account Executive. The basic offer is quite high for me which seems attracive but I do have bad feelings. Any opinion or advise?
